Speculative Design in collaboration with Nottingham College

During the second term of my final academic year, I had to collaborate with the course leader of the BA Theatre Arts course in Nottingham College, Amy Legge for a speculative design. Amy was directing and facilitating the project where I had to focus on a design response to a specific text for a specific space, which in this case was the dark comedy of Joseph K. by Tom Basden for the Nottingham College’s Theatre space. Through research, my body of work and my response to diverse contexts the project aims to show high levels of professionalism and sensitivity through regular engagement with the production team. I also aimed to produce conceptual responses to problems by analyzing the social and cultural impact the play itself has.
